This is a 3D model of a Sig Sauer P320 M18 handgun. This low-poly model has 12,444 polys.

I started by blocking out the shape of the gun against reference images loaded into 3DS Max and then proceeded to model the high-poly version once I was happy with the blockout. Once the high-poly model was complete, I duplicated the model, ready to create the low-poly version by removing edge loops to get down to roughly 12,000 polys. Then, I moved on to UV unwrapping the low-poly model and the material ID stage, ready to be loaded into Substance Painter for texturing. I then loaded the low-poly model into Substance Painter and baked the high-poly detail onto the low-poly and proceeded with texturing.

To capture the render of the gun, I used Unreal Engine 5.
